| Holy shit! Am I actually posting when no one else is? Have you your bodies been taken over by zombies? If so, it is only a matter of time until I join you. I don't believe zombie outbreak can be escaped. And why is that? Certainly it has nothing to do with zombie intelligence or speed. But, I suppose, it's more like force of will. Like that freaking Sean Kingston song "Beautiful Girl" which makes my ears bleed yet is played over and over. Will I too give into it's mediocrity? I think not (probably).
See, it's these sorts of ideas that send my head spinning. And I know - if I had money like Howard Hughes - I'd be crazy too. Or I guess that's called eccentric... I would probably have some sort of zombie plan. Basement with guns and canned goods. Perhaps an underground computer station. Hmmm... this is sounding good. AND LET ME SAY - It is 9:30 in the morning and I am completely sober.
Okay, now I have to think this through..
How do you survive a zombie outbreak?
First we must agree on some conditions: Zombies slow and dumb, afraid of water (unless this is Land of the Dead - in which case I'm with Simon Baker and my priorities are completely different), if you are bitten you will become a zombie. Oh, and somehow I am a billionaire...
So, obviously I'd have an island. And, like I said, underground station with guns and food. Computer headquarters. I guess I would have some sort-of camera set up in every major city and also the city of each of my friends. So, how do you guarantee networks and transmissions? Any computer nerds out there who want to give a suggestion? A helicopter would be helpful. Code communication also helpful.
What else???
Oh, and just to ease the worry of zombies.. Simon Baker

| First let me say that I am using the BB to write this - and xanga is not a mobile friendly site so I hop this turns out okay. Second, yes, I know I could just stop having updates sent to my email - but you guys are a bunch of Bs and Cs. You made me feel compelled to write - although you have to know my life is so boring and nothing interesting happens.
Right now the pugs are sitting across from each other and licking one another's face.
St Louis is crazy hot right now. Today is supposed to be the hottest day of the year. They're telling people to stay inside. Some people have already died.
I just found out the Director of Stores for Loft will be in my store next month. It's a crazy huge deal. Of our region she has only ever visited Chicago. Needless to say, I've told Logan I might need a cot to sleep at the store.
I just finished reading Eclipse by Stephanie Meyer. It's the third book in a series about a vampire and a human girl that fall in love - very Buffy. It's considered young adult, but it's really good and starting to get really popular. Several bookstores had midnight parties like they did for Harry Potter.
See? Boring... | | |

Okay, so these were my pics of St. Louis. The arch was our view from our hotel, so that was pretty cool. We were 40 rows back in the center, so these were the pics I got of Taylor. | | |
