Holy shit! Am I actually posting when no one else is? Have you your bodies been taken over by zombies? If so, it is only a matter of time until I join you. I don't believe zombie outbreak can be escaped. And why is that? Certainly it has nothing to do with zombie intelligence or speed. But, I suppose, it's more like force of will. Like that freaking Sean Kingston song "Beautiful Girl" which makes my ears bleed yet is played over and over. Will I too give into it's mediocrity? I think not (probably).

See, it's these sorts of ideas that send my head spinning. And I know - if I had money like Howard Hughes - I'd be crazy too. Or I guess that's called eccentric... I would probably have some sort of zombie plan. Basement with guns and canned goods. Perhaps an underground computer station. Hmmm... this is sounding good. AND LET ME SAY - It is 9:30 in the morning and I am completely sober.

Okay, now I have to think this through..

How do you survive a zombie outbreak?

First we must agree on some conditions: Zombies slow and dumb, afraid of water (unless this is Land of the Dead - in which case I'm with Simon Baker and my priorities are completely different), if you are bitten you will become a zombie. Oh, and somehow I am a billionaire...

So, obviously I'd have an island. And, like I said, underground station with guns and food. Computer headquarters. I guess I would have some sort-of camera set up in every major city and also the city of each of my friends. So, how do you guarantee networks and transmissions? Any computer nerds out there who want to give a suggestion? A helicopter would be helpful. Code communication also helpful.

What else???

Oh, and just to ease the worry of zombies..

You guys are a bunch of Bs and Cs

First let me say that I am using the BB to write this - and xanga is not a mobile friendly site so I hop this turns out okay. Second, yes, I know I could just stop having updates sent to my email - but you guys are a bunch of Bs and Cs. You made me feel compelled to write - although you have to know my life is so boring and nothing interesting happens.

Right now the pugs are sitting across from each other and licking one another's face.

St Louis is crazy hot right now. Today is supposed to be the hottest day of the year. They're telling people to stay inside. Some people have already died.

I just found out the Director of Stores for Loft will be in my store next month. It's a crazy huge deal. Of our region she has only ever visited Chicago. Needless to say, I've told Logan I might need a cot to sleep at the store.

I just finished reading Eclipse by Stephanie Meyer. It's the third book in a series about a vampire and a human girl that fall in love - very Buffy. It's considered young adult, but it's really good and starting to get really popular. Several bookstores had midnight parties like they did for Harry Potter.

See? Boring...

Okay, so these were my pics of St. Louis. The arch was our view from our hotel, so that was pretty cool. We were 40 rows back in the center, so these were the pics I got of Taylor.

Wow....

...I can't believe it's been over two months since I've last posted. Once again, I am an awesome friend. But-it also took some of you a really long time to post too!!! Things are cool in Btown. Everyday I miss "city life." I'm not kidding - people here really think I'm from Metropolis. Everyone here is really excited about Pottery Barn going into the Springfield Mall. One of my associates asked me "Have you ever heard of Pottery Barn? It's so cool and its coming here!!" Yes, someone actually asked me if I had ever heard of Pottery Barn.

Mostly we have been playing with our new pups!! They are so cute! Logan decided he didn't want to spend $2000 on a bulldog (who can blame him) so we got two Pugs instead! Their names are Angus and Malcolm.

A couple of weeks ago Kyle and I went to the American Idol concert in St. Louis. It was cool. Unfortunately, there was no making out with Taylor Hicks. I'm trying to put pics of it up - but I can't figure out why it won't let me.... maybe I'll start a new blog...

Nothing crazy to report here because I've been working overtime. Logan's bday was yesterday. It was a good day. With his new job he gets $2.99 dominos pizzas on Monday and on his bday he gets FREE ice cream cakes from Dairy Queen. So that was awesome. I was pretty boring and bought him Mythbusters Season 1. My bday is on Friday and I am turning old. (25 - yikes!) Does everyone remember that episode of SATC where Carrie has the bad birthday and no one makes it to her birthday dinner and the girl next to her is having a party and turning 25? Kyle made me agree to yell "25! Fuck I'm old!" Wherever I am just like the episode.

Logan's mom and grandma were here a couple of days ago. They are really nice - and bought us a big, nice grill for our deck. Logan's grandma freaks me out and always grabs my arm really hard and tells me weird stories. At one point she was eating an ice cream cone and started telling me a story and spit on me! It was horrible!

Anyway - here are pics of my store and Branson Landing
